Our New Addition

Just a quick little post. Jaden Shawn Clegg was born Tuesday June 24th at 7:51pm! Even though he's just a little guy weighing in at 4 pounds 15 ounces, he is healthy and doing great! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect little guy! He is such a blessing in our lives! He was a suprise coming at 37 weeks but we are so excited he is here!
We'll post more pictures and such later. We are also making our blog private this week. If you want to have access please send us your email so you can keep up with our little family! Thanks!

The Best New Daddy!

Yesterday we spent the day at my parents house for Fathers Day! My niece Marissa adores Shawn! I think his favorite thing is to come over while I am holding her and she'll just look at me and say "Shawn" and stick out her arms! Whenever she hears his voice she comes charging in the room! Everytime I watch them together it just reminds me of what an incredible dad shawn is going to be! I'm so lucky to have him as by husband and to be sealed to him forever! He is going to be the best daddy! The other night we were talking about how there will be a few nights I will have to stay at work late with the baby, and I was telling him that if he didn't have a lot of homework those nights he could just come over and hang out with us! Well, his response was, or I could just come after work and pick up the baby so you coud focus that last little time on Danica and I could have some time alone with the him. How many new daddys would say that! He is just the best and I am VERY lucky!!!

My Growing Belly!

This picture and post is for all of you out there whose constant harassment has finally broken me down! Here is your belly picture! Taken at 35 weeks at one of my showers thrown by my fabulous nanny friends! As you can see I'm getting quite large! Here is the latest and greatest on us as well! As of my dr apt this morning, our cute little Jaden is breech (which means instead of being head down like most babies are right now, he is bum down, head up!) So we'll wait 2 more weeks to see if he turns on his own, if not then I'll have the doctors try to turn him. This is usually only 50% successful! If he doesn't turn then we will just schedule a c-section. So right now we are just hoping he will turn on his own! Luckily we live in a time where all options are quite safe! We'll keep you updated on how things go!
