A Weekend Away

This weekend we decided to get away and so we headed up to Oakley Utah, to Shawn's family's cabin. It was so nice to just be up in the mountains relaxing! We went with Chad, Jamie, and little Hayden! We all had such a great time, well for the most part, (Jaden was a little under the weather). Here are some pictures from our adventures:

After we got back from the cabin, it was family dinner time at the Clegg's! after dinner Jaden and Shawn went outside for a little father son bonding time! What a better activity than soccer! He's our little Striker! What a great weekend!

Our Little Cougar

This is a picture from the first BYU game of the season last Saturday! Jaden started out the season in style in his BYU cougars shirt! Daddy wouldn't have it any other way! We had a little BYU party with our close friends and had a great time!

This picture is hilarious I think! hehe Jaden is not really punching Hayden, I mean why would he Hayden could kick the crap out of him...its just a fun picture! Jaden and Hayden are the best of buds! We hope they will be forever! Just like their daddies...(and now their mommies too! )

The three of them! Here is Hayden Kate and Jaden, "The Posse" Hayden is almost exactly 2 months older than Jaden, and Jaden is 3 weeks older than Kate! Even though Jaden is the littlest, its okay though, his friends have his back! In every picture of Jaden and Kate, jaden curls right up next to her. You may think its a little early for Jaden to be spooning with girls but its those Clegg genes inside of him! Gotta Love it! He might have to fight Hayden for her though...and he kinda needs to grow bigger than her too! He's working on it though! Go 10 lbs!

My girlfriends from my student ward and I all got pregnant at about the same time, and none of us really knew it until Sally (tristans mom) was about 5 months! So here is Jadens other group of friends! (He's such a click hopper!) Tristan is on the left, he's 2 1/2 months older than Jaden, then Jaden is 5 weeks older than Connor. (the one on the right) Atleast this time Jaden looks the middle child part, even though I think Connor realy is longer. These little guys don't see eachother as much, but its fun when they do! I guess this was the summer of the boys! Which just makes Kate all the more the center of attention...she's going to have her hands full!

Okay this pictures is just absolutely priceless! This was Jaden on our way to church on sunday! All he needs is a name tag and he could be a little samoan missionary with those flip flops on! Just like his daddy! As you can see he wasn't such a fan of the tie, so that didn't last long! He also hates his car seat, so that adds to the priceless facial expression! Isn't he cute though!

2 Month Pictures

Today we went to kiddie kandids to get some pictures of Jaden taken. Well to say the least it was an experience! We spent the morning up at the cabin and Jaden was the happiest and smiliest boy in the world! Well when we got to the mall he was fast asleep. He had just eaten before we left and we were set! Turns out they were running over a half hour behind...and Jaden wasn't in the mood to wait. We triend taking family pictures first...no such luck. After a few minutes though he cheered up and we got some great pictures we were going to try the family pictures again at the end...but during the naked pictures Jaden peed on Shawn...so we decided against it! It wa s quite comical to say the least! Oh well though maybe we'll try again for that one around Christmas time! Here are the pictures we did get though! We were quite pleased!

Getting SO Big!!!

Sorry it has been so long since our last post. Nothing too exciting has been happening! just fun filled days as a little family! I thought I'd post a few new pictures of Jaden. He is getting so big and is so much fun! Enjoy!

This is one of Jaden's very first smiles! I love it! How could you not love this face!

8 pounds and still growing strong! He seems so big now! I can't believe some babies are born this size! I love it!

Slowly yet surely we are getting adapted to the car seat instead of the car bed! Hooray!

Last month we took Jaden up to Logan to meet his great grandparents and his new cousin Savannah it was so fun! She is adorable and one of these days Jaden will catch up in size! We have faith! Just keep eating buddy!

Build a Jaden

So.... Shawn's mission president is coming home soon and we wanted to get Jaden a new outfit to wear to the homecoming. Well, we went to the mall and after searching for a few hours and not finding a single thing, we were very discouraged...he's just so little (but so cute)! We were just about to leave when we passed the Build a Bear Workshop and I had an idea! You guessed it.... while other people in the store were dressing stuffed animals, Shawn and I were finding an outfit for our little boy! Everyone there got quite a kick out of us! This is our end result! Doesn't he look adorable!

Jaden has a new favorite game, its called "Steal the washcloth" he likes to play this game during bath time! We have the cutest little wash cloth that has a teddy bear head on it (thanks Sarah) and now whenever we give him a bath, he tries to grab it! I'll tell you what, he is one tough kid and when he does get a hold of it, bath time stops until he decides to give it back! Its pretty cute!

Oh and just a new quick update...Jaden has finally hit 6 pounds! 6 pounds 3 ounces to be exact! Way to go buddy! We're so proud!

Hooray For 5 Pounds!

We took Jaden to the doctor for his 2 week check up this past week and were so excited to find out he's gained 7 ounces! :) He is now 5 lbs and 5 ounces! We are SO proud! Kinda funny the things we get overly excited about now but nonetheless its a great thing! He can also now be in a normal car seat (hooray) and we're hoping that within the next little while he'll start being able to fit into newborn clothes! We're optimistic what can I say! But he is adorable!

Baby Jaden!

Well its taken awhile to get some pictures up of our cute baby Jaden and I apologize! Shawn has been off of work up until today so we have just been enjoying the time with our little family! Here are some pictures of the last 13 days we have had our sweet baby boy! I ended up going into labor early, so when we got to the hospital they tried to turn Jaden (he was breech) Yet it was to no avail, so I had a c section. Shawn thought it was pretty rad he got to watch and has now seen more of me than I will ever see! Here is a picture of the proud papawith his new baby boy just minutees old!

We did n't take any pictures of Jaden on the way home from the hospital because he was so little the outfit we had gotten hom wouldn't fit....Sorry!

Once we got home it was time for more father son bonding. Shawn and Jaden took a few naps together this week! :) Arent they cute!

Here is Jaden's first bath! At first he was NOT a fan.... after a few minutes though he relaxed and actually seemed to enjoy it!

I've taken so many pictures the last 2 weeks and Jaden finally had enough...I guess this was his way of telling me he was done being photographed!More of Jaden and Shawn, I just cant get enough of the two of them!
So sometimes Shawn and I just sit and hold Jaden and watch all the funny faces he makes! Its actually quite fun! We ciould sit there all day and just look at our beautiful baby boy and laugh at some of the great faces.... here is our favorite! You can't help but laugh! :)
